How long will my order take?
Picture Me Books starts processing orders once payment has been made, usually same day for credit cards and after three days for cheques.
Although we ask customers to allow 28 days, delivery usually takes 2 weeks.
How do I order?
Ordering online is a simple three-step process
1. Choose your book. Fill out the order formand attach your photo
2. Fill out the order form and attach your photo.
3. Organise payment. Alternatively, you can download an order form from the website, fill it out, attach a photo and mail it to Picture Me Books, PO Box 25 Yarraville, Vic 3013
What payment options are available?
Merchandise can be purchased by credit card, cheque or money order.
Credit card payments are processed through the secure Paymate site.
Cheques should be made payable to Picture Me Books and mailed to: Picture Me Books, PO Box 25, Yarraville, 3013.
How will my book be shipped?
Picture Me Books sends all books and merchandise through Australia Post. The cost is $6.95 for the first item and $1 for each additional item being sent to the same address. Express Parcel Post ($10) can be arranged.
What if I find a mistake in my book?
We will replace any book free of charge if the mistake was made by us.
What materials are used to make my book?
The book pages are digitally printed on 160gsm stock and the covers printed on 300gsm stock. A protective laminate is added to the cover, giving it extra durability (covers can be wiped clean with a damp cloth).
Why does a Picture Me Book cost more than other personalised children's books?
We use quality materials to ensure our books look great and will survive years of loving attention. Also, while changing names and other information doesn't take long, adding your child's photo to the illustrations takes time. It also means every book is a one off, which increases the costs of printing.
Is ordering online secure?
Yes. All Paymate transactions are conducted in secure sessions using the financial industry's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standards with 128-bit encryption.
I've got a friend who doesn't have the internet, can I get a brochure for her?
Yes, simply email us your postal address and we'll send you a brochure.
Can I personalize one book for two children?
Our latest release "Koala Rescue: Dad and CHILD'S NAME save the day" includes photos of the child and their dad. All our other Picture Me Books photo-personalised stories are designed for one child, although a friend or mum or dad is also mentioned in the story.
Which elements of the story can I change?
The child's name, photo and skin tone (if necessary) are changed in each book. Other changes vary from title to title. The personalised features of each book are listed in the Books section.
For what age groups are these books appropriate?
Although our books are divided into three age groups 0 to 3 years, 2 to 5 years, and 4 to 9 years, we receive orders from all ages. We've made our photo-personalised books for first birthdays and 21st birthdays, as a starting school present and as a wedding anniversary gift.
What is your policy concerning the confidentiality of my personal information?
We respect your privacy and will never sell, share or swap your personal information.
